SUMMARY:SIGN-UP for 2027 WBC Registration REMINDER
DESCRIPTION:Registration for the 2027 Wilderness Basics Course will open  November\, 2026\n\n\n\nBelow is the link to sign up to receive advance notice about registration for the 2026 Wilderness Basics Course\, held January to March\, 2027. We typically send out the registration reminder in November to alert those on this list when registration will open for the 2027 WBC class. \n\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE THIS DOES NOT REGISTER YOU FOR THE 2027 WBC COURSE\, only a sign-up to receive an email reminding you when registration will open. \n\n\n\nPlease be aware of the following: \n\n\n\n\nA refund of $15 applies if you are a member of the Sierra Club.\n\n\n\nIf you cancel after registering\, a cancellation fee of $100 will be deducted from your refund.\n\n\n\nA refund is only available when cancelling before the second class (except for medical reasons).\n\n\n\nYou will not be able to sign up for Car Camp until you complete your day hike.\n\n\n\nYou may participate in Wilderness Basics Course a maximum time of 2 times within a 5 year period.\n\n\n\nSnow camp will be 1 or 2 nights in the field; Mammoth is currently planned as an option\, however if weather or other reasons prevent this\, all snow camp trips will occur in SoCal mountains.\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nPlease review the class schedule and make sure you can attend the main or make-up dates; there are no other dates besides those listed in the schedule. \n\n\n\nThere is no waitlist; after registration closes\, the class is full. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you have any questions\, you can contact registration@wildernessbasics.org.
